In these days life is never perfect
Troubles always come our way
Many are here for a while
Some are here to stay
Conflict, Distraction, Disappointment
These are all our fare
But in our time of trouble
There are those who care
Christian friends who comfort
And join us as we pray
But most of all our Father
Who is with us everyday
Precious family members
Who take us as we are
When our need is greatest
Which they are never far
Sights and sounds delight us
If only we see and hear
Take the time to listen careful
God is always and will be near
His beauty all around us
Comfort, warmth, leisure, play
Flowers, trees, rivers, mountains
Quiet nights and bright new days
A peaceful Sabbath morning
Hearing church bells ring
Choir music so sweet and soft
It makes the heart sing and rejoice
There are many treasures and riches
God gives to us each day
But sometimes we don’t see them
Moving blindly on our way
Take the time to thank Him
For all He is and does for us
He will surely lift your spirit
And fill your heart with pure love.

ReplyDeleteGreat Job and as Jessica said this is a great start.
ReplyDeleteJust to encourage you not to force yourself or God into writing. I find it counter productive when I try to force things. Writing for God must be directly from your heart. Another tip is to pray before you begin. Ask that he will use you and that you allow him to use your hands as his mouth.(Do not use my words for a prayer. Make it meaningful to him and use your own words. he would love that because it is coming from the heart.)
beautiful...
